The offer of the UNITARCOOP Foundation
Supported only by our sponsors, in the last two years our foundation have had financial difficulties in running the assistance services such as the home care of elderly persons or support of large families.
Lately we are working to develop our own financial resources. One of the solution to uphold our activities is the exploitation of the 75 hectares of agricultural land in Vadu (Vargata commune, at about 25 km from Tirgu Mures), purchased with the contribution of international financing funds.
In collaboration with the Local Counsil (public local administration) and the Unitarian Parish, er are working on a rural development program, which proposes to promote the cultivateion of medicinal and industrial plants, the breeding of domestic animals and rural turism. We mention that we have already applied for the bio-product certificates.
So we have arable lands, inexpensive labor power, know-how and we lack the starting capital. We believe that it can be acquired from funds ensured by international financial projects and trough the participation of possible investors.
